The Kids Judo program at the University of New South Wales commenced in 1996 with 2 classes a week. We now have 34 classes a week in six age groups. Kids love coming to our judo classes where they have fun developing their skills and get a good dose of exercise at the same time. This is also a very successful competitive program teaching effective competition judo, having turned out many junior national champions, medalists and international competitors.

Mini Kids Judo 3 – 4 years

These classes develop the core skills of movement with a leaning towards basic Judo movements:

  • Safe falling

  • Developing concentration and self confidence in a games structured environment

Games are developed to create the awareness of the desired skills of Judo with lots of fun and laughter.
